HANDS-ON

Architecture is not only the object, but rather a layer of history as a process of urban development. This is a slow process, and the sheer amount of neglected urban spaces within cities call for action. In multidisciplinary collaboration with artists, creative individuals and passionate citizens a series of urban interventions were created to test out the boundaries of architecture as a tool to re-shape urban space. Using botton-up, hands-on methods of architectural practice with only wood as fully recyclable material supports the idea of ephemeral in activating public space.
